Three numbers are displayed on each Christmas tree trunk. The students are asked to find the four Christmas ornaments that represent the fact family that those three numbers belong to. Those ornaments are glued in place and the fact family Christmas tree is then complete.

This activity asks the students to find the area of 9 different North Pole locations including Santa’s house, the workshop, and Mrs. Claus’ Cookie Factory. This entertaining Valentine’s Day math activity provides the students with twelve roses and three flower vases. Each rose is labels with a fraction and the three vases are labeled lees than a half, exactly a half, and more then a half. This fun activity asks the students to find the area of various Christmas trees and presents. The students find the area of the Christmas trees by simply counting the square units and the area of the presents by using the formula length x width. This can be used as a review activity or an assessment.

This activity reviews the identity, zero, associative, and commutative properties of multiplication. The students are given a page that contains four Halloween bags each labeled with a different property. They are also given 12 pieces of Halloween candy. Students are asked to cut out candy pieces that each display an example of one of these four properties. Then, the students paste the candies at the top of the correct Halloween bag.
