I am currently an adjunct professor teaching preservice elementary educators. I spent eight years teaching in 2nd grade. I have previously taught Kindergarten for one year and 1st grade for four years. Second grade has my heart! I love teaching with technology. Teaching style

My style is always evolving. I love using games to teach and reinforce concepts. I fully believe that learning should be fun! I love using technology in my lessons to enhance the content and to modify the content and products.

I have a Bachelor's in Child Development and Learning from Maryville College and Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee. I also have an Ed.S degree from Carson Newman in Educational Leadership.
