Animal habitat project to go along with animal or life cycle research. This is great for an end of unit project. Students can use a shoe box to create a habitat for an animal. This is great since it can be an in-class project or a take home project. There is directions attached as well as a rubric to help students to know what is expected from them. This document also includes a send home letter to parents to acknowledge and sign for the project.

This is a web quest for making math fun!!! Students will be working with fractions and measurements using recipes. Once the document is in presentation mode, the links become active and students can move throughout the web quest by using the live links. There are websites included for students to find a recipe to work with. This web quest includes a task, process, evaluation, rubric, and a teacher page with materials that are needed, standards, and student objectives.

This includes a force and motion test as well as an answer key. This can be used as an end of unit assessment. The force and motion test includes key topics/vocabulary (gravity, friction, force, kinetic energy, potential energy, Newton's Laws).

This is a rotation system that can be used for Daily 5 centers and Daily math centers. There is two sections included in the same powerpoint for each so both rotations can be found in one place. The rotation system can be edited to include student names and centers if needed. Each slide is timed for 15 minutes. After each rotation there is a one minute clean up slide for students to clean up and move to their next center. An arrow is included on each slide to tell the students which rotation

Included are 6 sets of comprehension questions to go with the fables "The Ant and the Grasshopper," "The Lion & the Mouse," "The Fox and the Grapes," "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," "The Tortoise and the Hare," and "The Crow and the Pitcher." (I used these for an end of unit project. Students worked in small groups and assigned a different fable to read, answer comprehension questions, and write BME. They used their information to create a comic strip for their fable.)

There are 3 different printables to use for students researching about a habitat/ecosystem. They can choose a habitat and use the links listed to research information. Included is a page for habitat facts, animal fact sheet, and plant fact sheet as well as links for each. Students can take the research and use the information to create a poster, google slides presentation, or write an informational piece on their habitat.

This includes an ecosystems travel brochure where students create a brochure promoting an ecosystem (Rainforest, Temperate Deciduous Forest, Temperate Grassland, Desert, Tropical Rainforest, Desert, Freshwater Ecosystems, Saltwater Ecosystem/Coral Reefs). This is a 27 question test for Ecosystems. This can be used as an end of the unit assessment. This test included multiple choice questions, fill in the blank and short answer. It also has an answer key.

This packet includes a unit about plants beginning with discovering and looking at seeds and how they grow into plants. These pages can be used for investigation and observing seeds and plants. Students will be able to record growth of their plants and changes using the recording pages provided in this packet. There are also pages included for students to be able to make predictions about their plant and what a plant needs to grow.

Students will use different friction ramps to discover which material will create the least amount of friction. This activity can be used for Force and Motion unit.

SUNsational sight words has a summer theme to each card. This packet includes 72 high fluency sight words for grades 1-3. These can be used in centers, for early finishers, or in small groups. These sight words can be printed on card stock and laminated for durability. I use these in my classroom for small groups for struggling readers. The students love the fun colors and graphics.

These Multiplication Flash cards (1-12) work great for math centers, math fact fluency, practice, and early finishers. I also love to use these flash cards for fun games in the classroom and for students to practice their basic math skills. **For durability, print on card stock and laminate.

Students will choose an animal and use this handout to complete research on their animal and its adaptations. They are researching to find out how it adapts to its environment and survives. Students can use their information to create an informational research paper, a google slide, poster, or brochure about their animal adaptations.

Students will be able to create a story using a writing prompt and a plant mobile based on information learned about plants. This document includes task development and a remediation plan.

This includes 32 vocabulary words from the Weather Unit. These can be used on a word wall/pocket chart for students to reference back to. You can also use these for students to define the vocabulary.

I have used these games in the classroom throughout my teaching experience including student teacher. They are interactive and hands on games to make learning fun! These ideas can be adapted to many subjects and content areas.
