I have worked for a school district for over 20 years in various positions,including administrative assistant for curriculum and Title I and office manager of a large elementary school. I have a Masters in Teaching degree from Southern Oregon University. I have been teaching for 10 years. I recently acquired the position of TOSA for technology/math/science at the elementary level.

Math Role-Playing Game (Trip Planners): Travel Cards 1-20
Trip Planners is a role-playing game that integrates math, geography, and writing. Students begin with a folder that includes an expense ledger, spiral notebook for journal writing, laminated United States road map, and a United States road atlas. Using the laminated road map, students plan a cross-country road trip. Next, students begin with $5,000 in their expense ledger. Students randomly choose a travel card. Each travel card represents one day of traveling on the road and include food
