Mitosis Task - Curing Cancer
This task can be used as an activity and/or assessment. It is great for formal or informal observations. Students will prove their knowledge of mitosis by pretending to be doctors and help a patient kill the cancer growing inside their liver. Check out the Preview for the first page of the task.

Teaching style
As a teacher, my goal is to make learning FUN! I provide children with strategies on how to learn so they can comprehend what is being taught. I instill knowledge that each child needs in order to be successful. I enjoy small group instruction and creating tiered tasks. There is nothing better than seeing the light bulbs of your students go off. The goal of my tasks is to create engaging activities that challenge students to think and apply academic concepts that inevitably produce open discourse amongst the students.
