There never seems to be enough practice pages. Here are some straight forward homework pages I created for Language Arts with subject and predicate practice. One page could even be used for a end of the week quiz.

Here is a chance to practice perimeter, measurement, and develop additional vocabulary. These are fun homework activities for students to do by measuring things in their house with a unit of measure they find at home. Later, they can revisit the activity using inches or centimeters. Since it is tactile, active and a relevant homework activity, even your most reluctant students may choose to do it. For our ESL students, it is also an activity to build their vocabulary for math and specific items

There never seems to be enough practice pages for grammar. This page is designed for students to practice changing from present tense to present progressive. As students fill in the chart, they will need to check for tense and whether the subject is plural or singular. To make it easy for you, or students to correct, an answer key is provided.

There are never enough practice pages! These are practice pages I made for homework practice. They work well for substitutes, independent work and have been used with primary students, ESL and intervention students. These compliment the Free Noun and Verb page in my store.

This is a practice page for learning about Adverbs. I have also made a list of common adverbs that students can choose to use in their writing to make it more interesting. The list can be glued together to make a long, vertical banner for the children to refer to. I laminated it once, and used it for over 15 years before I needed to replace it. I hope it will be helpful to you too.

Word searches are a fun, engaging way to develop vocabulary. They make great cooperative learning activities or reading centers when doing rotations (or individual assessments.) Help your ESL, intervention and primary level students learn about prepositions and location. -Do a mini directed drawing by having students tip the letter D on its back. Add nose, ears, whiskers, eye and feet. -Draw the mouse above the cheese. -Have students write the sentence "The mouse is above the cheese". Continue in this vein, having students draw the mouse in various locations around the cheese, followed by writing the sentence. Run this page back to back. F
