Students cut and glue various animal pictures into two categories, based on whether or not it is an animal that lives in the ocean habitat. There is also a writing page where students are asked to make a connection between the ocean animals and what allows them to survive in the ocean habitat compared to the other habitats we discuss. This Write the Room Activity has students creating sentences by cracking the picture codes. After they have walked around the room and found all of the simple words that make their sentence, they are to illustrate their sentence in the box.
