Most of my experience has been in special education--Special Day Class and Resource Specialist Programs K-8. Then I made a major change and enjoyed teaching 1st and 2nd grade for several years.

Honor your students’ achievement with certificates when they have mastered addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division facts. These attractive certificates can be signed by you … and by your principal … and then presented to students!

Teaching style
Good instruction means my weakest students are progressing without being overwhelmed ... and my most advanced students are continually being challenged! My style requires creative materials that motivate all of my students to work systematically toward mastery of critical skills ... with flexible scaffolding ... at their own level, and at their own pace.
