Looking for a way to integrate Math with ELA? This student driven interactive calendar will combine math skills with ELA ! This daily month-long quadrilateral calendar requires students investigate characteristics of quadrilaterals, then write a compare/contrast characteristics in a paragraph. This calendar works great as a bell ringer activity or as integration into your math lesson to analyze the characteristics of the quadrilaterals.

Display calendar pieces on a classroom bulletin board for discussion each day as the volume increases with the date. Through short daily discussion and modeling students learn how to calculate volume. This calendar is designed to give students small daily exposure of volume calculation.
