About the store
After college I ran a one room schoolhouse that traveled with a carnival company. While doing that I ended up meeting a company which worked with children who needed tutoring because they were entertainers and athletes. I worked w/ a couple shows.
I started getting interested in the rights of students during my travels, and decided to go to law school. After law school I wrote a fellowship to work in Education Law, but I decided that the law (even though I loved learning about it) really was not for me.
Now I'm back to teaching and I love being involved with Educational Technology and Innovation.

Executive Functioning Apps / Resources for Mobile Devices - Digital - Technology
This year I was tasked to work with a group of students once a week who needed help with executive functioning and organization but were unable to participate in a class that we give.
After meeting with our Special Education Team, I heard some of their requests and ideas that would make students lives more organized.

Innovation & Maker Space Teacher Supply Sign Up List
Having a hard time collecting items for your making, tinkering, or engineering area? If you do not have an upcycling exchange area by you then sometimes it is hard to keep supplies in stock. I used this list by asking all the teachers to have their rooms be the collection site for one item on the list. I let the teacher have discretion about what they use or share with our library maker space. I also sent out the completed sign up list to all of the teachers so that they knew who the 'go to'

This fieldtrip guide was created for 5th graders to enjoy the NSU Health Professions Museum on the Nova Southeastern University campus. This is a 'free' museum in South Florida. Graphic Novel Book Report Project -- Digital Learning / Technology Options

This is an actual assignment that I posted on my homework site. Students are allowed to use class time as we are a project based digital learning classroom, however due dates are given as homework.
I strive to study genres that are so often skipped because the same subjects are repeated grade after grade. Here, we studied animal fantasy using books from the Warrior series, Seekers series, etc.
