In this activity, students will read two apple recipes: apple butter and applesauce. They will use Venn diagrams to organize their thoughts to create a paragraph comparing and contrasting the recipes. There are two options for the paragraph construction: a free-written paragraph with additional questions or a paragraph frame to make for easy differentiation.
