The Learning Cafe

This document is a review of the Human Body Systems based on 5th grade standards. It can be used as a homework assignment, class activity, a study guide, or a test/quiz. It also includes an answer key.

I use this tracker digitally with my students through Google drive for them to track their progress throughout the quarter. This is one piece of my digital data binder for students. It is fully editable with your purchase. It can also be printed and used as a paper based visual tracking tool for students.

Students will use place value and rounding concepts using playing cards and whiteboards. They will also be practicing communication skills to explain answers during the activity.

This product comes completely editable to suit your needs. I chose to print mine on scrapbooking paper and laminated them, then put them on lanyards for the kids to wear when they left the room.

This product is intended to teach students in Pre-Algebra and Algebra I courses the basics of using square and cube roots. There are some geometry and word problem based problems to give them a general idea of working these types of expressions. The product uses Florida Standards based information.

This product include two powerpoint presentations. They are two options for you to use to teacher solving linear equations and types of slope. They are both editable so you can add your own practice problems and exit tickets should you choose to do so. Animations with the products will hide answers until you choose to show them. These can be used with both Pre-Algebra and Algebra I students and are based on Florida Standards.

This product is intended to be used as a performance task or assessment piece after students have learned the Pythagorean Theorem. Students are expected to determine which triangle is actually a right triangle by using the Pythagorean Theorem formula. Following their calculations, they have to write an explanation of how they know the triangle they have chosen as a right angle truly is a right triangle using key terms taught during lessons on this concept.
