Each week in my World History class, we focus our Friday lesson on a female in history. Since most history books focus on the accomplishments of men, I try to find interesting women in history to introduce students to on Fridays. Usually, my assignments cover Ancient and Medieval Women. But in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's death, I decided to remember her on this Friday.
