Intro to Geometry Notes Booklet
This is the week long set of notes I made for my algebra kiddos to prepare them for geometry! Most of this is a review of 8th grade math but is likely things they have forgotten after spending all year working on linear, quadratic, and exponential functions. Factoring Trinomials Unit Test (4 Versions)
This is a summative assessment that covers all of trinomial factoring including when a is 1 and a positive or negative number not equal to 1. There is also a couple problems with GCF only from a binomial and the extra credit is a difference of squares as some students see these as having a middle term of 0. Unit Circle, Trig Ratios, and Identities Cheat Sheet
A one stop shop for your students to use as a journal bookmark or instead of a notes index card on assessments. Print 2 sheets to a page on colored paper for the perfect size to keep in a composition notebook during your Trigonometry unit! Cut N Build: Pythagorean Theorem & Trig Ratios (Shape Puzzle)
This is a shape puzzle where students are given 9 triangles and will build one large shape with all their triangles stuck together so they can answer the riddle at the top of the page. The skills needed are working understanding of the pythagorean theorem, trig ratios, simplifying radicals, and rationalizing radical denominators.This is a type of activity that I have my students complete in pairs, but everyone turns in their own student workspace paper so I can see that everyone knows how to do

Reference & Co-terminal Angles Coloring Page Bundle (All units)
This is a bundle including all three versions of my astronaut coloring sheet that practices finding reference and co-terminal angles in degrees and radians! (You can do degree only, radian only, or a half and half combo sheet.) There is a significant overlap in questions (about half) between the degree only/half degree and the radian only/half radian so I do not think this would work as multiple separate assignments in a row but could if you do them some time apart for students to not be able to

Factoring Trinomial Card Game/Relay
This is intended to be a partner or group game in which students work collaboratively to get correct answers. The questions include coefficients of negative and positive numbers and are predominantly greater than 1. There are a couple problems where it asks the student to find the solutions and graph the quadratic, you can easily leave those out if only wanting factoring. This packet includes all question cards, instructions, an answer key, and the blank student worksheet.

Show What You Know (1st Day of School Skills Assessment)
I like to do a "show what you know" as part of our first day of school procedure to help students get their math brain kickstarted after summer break! This one was what I use for my on level pre-calculus students (but would also be very appropriate for geometry or algebra 2) to get a handle on their mental proficiency of integer operations, exponent/radical knowledge, and their recall of trinomial factoring. -Mainly student centered around balancing below grade level skills with being ethical in still teaching the course students are assigned to even if the traditional course rigor is not possible for where students are.
