IREAD Basic Skills Practice: Test Like Format This document includes 11 problems that deal with the skills of multiple meaning words. Students will read two sentences, and find a word that will complete BOTH sentences. There is also a 10 problem sheet that works on identifying vowel sounds in words. Students will have to read the word on their own, and identify the underlined sound. Then, they will find the word that has the same vowel sound.

In this document you will get three lessons/worksheets. The first one students will have to color the hearts in the picture, and then identify the fraction of each color in the group. Students will practice their multiplication story problems by reading Christmas themed problems. There are 12 problems. Students may use repeated addition, or use their multiplication skills to answer each problem. There is a template for students to show their work on as they complete each story problem.

Students will create a sweet poem about their mom. It will be 100% about them. They need to think of words that describe her. Then, come up with numbers that add up to 100 and use them in their poem. Students will be given the word misbehaving. Students will cut out each letter and make as many 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 letter words they can with the letters. A chart is provided to write the words they make.

Here are a few printables that you can use during Valentine's time to review math skills. One printable is matching hearts by reading numbers in written form and standard form. The second printable is a heart coloring by odd and even numbers. The third page is matching hearts by their value. There are hearts with 3 digit numbers in them. There is a digit underlined. The student needs to find the heart that has the same value of that underline digit.
