IREAD Basic Skills Practice: Test Like Format This document includes 11 problems that deal with the skills of multiple meaning words. Students will read two sentences, and find a word that will complete BOTH sentences. There is also a 10 problem sheet that works on identifying vowel sounds in words. Students will have to read the word on their own, and identify the underlined sound. Then, they will find the word that has the same vowel sound.

Students will cut out Christmas 18 Christmas presents and read the words inside the gift. Students will recognize them by identifying them as synoyms or antonyms by gluing them under the correct Christmas tree.

Here are a few printables that you can use during Valentine's time to review math skills. One printable is matching hearts by reading numbers in written form and standard form. The second printable is a heart coloring by odd and even numbers. The third page is matching hearts by their value. There are hearts with 3 digit numbers in them. There is a digit underlined. The student needs to find the heart that has the same value of that underline digit.

This document contains two activities that would be great for a learning center, or extra practice for synonyms. Students will match two turkeys together by finding the other turkey that has a word that means the same. There’s also turkey coloring page where they have to color matching turkeys by synonyms.
