Students struggle over creating linear expressions from the text of a word problem. To help them I have created two resources here. The first is a walkthrough aiding them in the construction of a linear equation using: 1. slope and intercept 2. slope and point 3. two points The answers to this guided activity is provided. The second part of this workbook is a cut and paste activity where students read the word problem and search for the correct expression to go with the statement. An answer key
