This is an activity in which students go around the classroom and solve Algebra I problems. At each question their response will ask them to pick up an item and then dress up one team mate in these items. I designed the lesson around a willing teacher in my building who is Mr. Heflin. He dressed up in the proper answers for me and I used these on the bulletin board with the students answers for them to compare and see if they were correct. It took a lot of work but the students enjoyed the a
Students will work as individuals, pairs, or groups to solve quadratic equation problems. They can use a variety of methods to solve the problems. Students will show their work on the recording sheet. Students can then check their answers using the QR reader codes.
This activity will allow students to solve two step equations and check their work using a QR Reader code. This activity can be displayed around the classroom and have the students work as individuals or pairs to complete on the student recording sheet showing their steps.
Students will solve linear inequalities on the recording sheet provided. You can cut and post the questions around the classroom and have the students work as an individual, pairs, or groups to solve the problems. There are problems in which they divide or multiply by a negative. Graphing the answers is NOT built into the QR reader codes, but could be an extension of the activity that you add. I have my students graph them, but that is not on the code or on the key.
