My career in education began teaching English in Italy in a small village near Treviso, Veneto. The first eight years of my full-time teaching life I spent teaching middle school language arts, social science, theatre, and designated ELD. I just recently switched to kindergarten! Teaching style

It is my goal for my students to be as passionate about the content as I am. I believe in a student-centered approach to teaching where I give students as many opportunities as possible to be creative, make meaning, become experts, and think critically. As a Google Certified Educator, I enjoy integrating technology into my lessons. I believe that technology should be used in a classroom to expand on content in a rigorous, engaging, meaningful, and fun way!
