The first eight years of my full-time teaching life I spent teaching middle school language arts, social science, theatre, and designated ELD. I just recently switched to kindergarten! Restorative conferences are a very effective in guiding student to reflect on their behaviors and learn how to repair harmed relationships. Teaching style
It is my goal for my students to be as passionate about the content as I am. I believe in a student-centered approach to teaching where I give students as many opportunities as possible to be creative, make meaning, become experts, and think critically. As a Google Certified Educator, I enjoy integrating technology into my lessons. I believe that technology should be used in a classroom to expand on content in a rigorous, engaging, meaningful, and fun way!
