Directions for a research project on a tourist attraction in Paris. Students are asked to imagine they are visiting the site and to tell the class about it. Requirements include where it's located, historical information, price for admission, etc.

Review passé composé with avoir and être with the classic story of Cindrella. I like to cut out the sentences, mix them up and have students place the story in order while guessing what the story is. File also includes the story in paragraph form for a fun reading comprehension activity. Please note: the story is written for French 2 or 3 level proficiency. Included in this file is a vocabulary list for body parts in French. After reviewing the new vocabulary, there are several review sheets. One on which students label "Jacques le Squelette" with body part vocabulary. The other is a crossword puzzle with clues in English. Students write the vocab word in French, without articles. (On a side note, I usually accompany this lesson with a game of "Simon Says" ("Simon dit"!) to practice pronunciation.

Fourteen sentences describe a room in French, where certain objects are positioned in relation to other objects. Students translate the sentences, then draw and label the room.
Meant for review of object and position (on, under, on top of, etc) vocab - compatible with the book Discovering French Bleu (Unit 4 lesson 9) but can be used for anything.
Students practice clothing and colors vocabulary, along with adjective agreement. The vocabulary is taken from the Discovering French Bleu text, Unit 6, but any French class teaching general clothing vocabulary should be able to use this product.
Outline of expectations for a project where students create and introduce their own "imaginary family." Guidelines can be adjusted by the teacher, the project has students writing three sentences for each family member. Example:

A series of questions and answers that are put in specific order to make a story. Cut out each phrase and give to students (as entire class or small groups) to reorder. I usually use a timer to make it a bit more competitive. Reviews question word vocabulary and forming questions in French using "est-ce que."
