This is an eight page unit to use with the study of Food Chains. Students will work in groups of three to research Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers. When finished, the group will analyze and decide which, if any, is the most importantnpart of the Food Chain. Students will present their findings as a group and individually. They will also draw a model of a Food Chain. Mrs. R.

This unit is for Frindle by Andrew Clements. It has vocabulary for each chapter and encourages the use of the dictionary, but also has the definitions for each word in the practice parts. There are comprehension questions, both literal and inferential, for each chapter. This is a book that the students really enjoyed. It is fun and stimulates critical thinking! Mrs. R.

This unit is written to use for 25 weeks, focusing on one trait per week, answering one or two questions per day. About 10-20 minutes per day. I wrote a vignette for each trait using experiences I had with students. There are questions for students to answer and activities for students to do independently or with a partner(group). This is an 11 page unit on Nouns. It has a cover so that you can make it into a booklet, a page that reviews kinds of nouns and nine pages that help students review and learn about nouns. A quick and easy way to teach/review nouns. Mrs. R.

Christmas customs for 10 different countries! There are 4 pages of sentences to unscramble. There are 2 or 3 sentences per country. When your student unscrambles the sentences, they will have a Christmas tradition for that country. Some of the sentences are easy and others are challenging. Answer Key is provided. Mrs. R.

This is a coloring book that shows a caricature of 22 of the U.S. presidents, gives basic information about each president, and has a coloring page for each of the caricatures. I included information geared to the interests of younger students. There is a cover page so you could make it into a booklet of presidents. There is a word find and two crossword puzzles. Mrs. R.

These are practice sheets for the multiplication facts for 2 through 12. There are answer sheets for each page. Students are to time themselves and figure out how long it took them, then correct and write down any facts they need to study. Students are challenged to take the test many times and try to improve their speed. There are 60 facts per page. This could be used in a math center or with the whole class. I would suggest having students graph their times for each page to show improvement

This is a booklet for students to complete and put together. It could be handed out as a booklet or done as you study each letter and put together when finished. There is a page for each letter of the alphabet, a cover page, and the last page is for them to write the alphabet.
