Description
This bundle pulls together 37 adult ESL grammar task card sets…more than 800 pages of focused, hands-on practice covering grammar fundamentals through advanced concepts, all designed with adult ESL students in mind.
One card, one question. Task cards take the pressure off because each card is one manageable chunk of grammar, making them a lot less intimidating than a full worksheet. Instead of having students staring down a wall of exercises before they've even started, you've got something that's naturally easy to gamify. Students often don't even realize how much practice they're getting.
Use them for warm-ups, small group work, independent practice, peer review, or take-home review. The included Easel versions make them just as easy to assign for digital or hybrid classes.

A NOTE ON THE CONTENT
If you already own my grammar guide & worksheet packs, you won't find duplicate sentences here. Every task card set was written with fresh content, so students aren't seeing the same sentences they've already worked with.
The topics and sentence contexts are built for adult learners, not middle schoolers. Your students are reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English for adult reasons: preparing for English proficiency exams and eventual university coursework, professional goals, daily life, personal growth, and so on. The content respects that.
HOW TO USE THESE SETS:
Pull individual sets as needed to reinforce a concept you're teaching or use them to diagnose where students are struggling. They work in pairs, small groups, or solo practice...in class or at home. If you're in a blended or fully online environment, the Easel versions keep things just as accessible without any extra prep on your end.
THIS WAS CREATED FOR YOUR ADULT ESL STUDENTS
Adult grammar students aren't a monolith. Some are preparing for university. Some are building the language skills they need for daily life or professional communication. Some are working toward citizenship. What they have in common is that they need grammar instruction that takes them seriously and content that's relevant to their lives and goals, not material borrowed from a public-school classroom.
That said, these task cards also work well for secondary ESL students and native English-speaking students who have specific grammar gaps to fill. They don’t want childish material either. This works for them.
GRAB IT AND GO
Download once, use all year, every year. With 37 sets on hand, you'll always have targeted grammar practice ready when you need it. This is a great start or addition to your task card library.
