6th grade Power Point lessons - Math - Common Core aligned
Share

Description

There are 21 different lessons in this super bundle of 6th grade Math PowerPoint lessons. Altogether there are 364 slides.

Included: Number Systems bundle (10 lessons, all CCSS-aligned with 6.NS), Expressions and Equations bundle (7 lessons, all CCSS-aligned with 6.EE), measures of central tendency PowerPoint, measuring length, area, and volume PowerPoint, ratios & proportions - calculating unit rates PowerPoint, and ratios and proportions PowerPoint.

I use these consistently in my own classroom (7th grade math) and they are highly effective in teaching note-taking skills, increasing focus, and improving study skills.

Although these are aligned with 6th grade standards, they could be used for 7th-8th grade review or 5th grade extension/advanced work.

These are perfect for teachers who are looking to incorporate more technology into the classroom, long-term substitute teachers, brand new teachers, and teachers who are looking for new ways to teach concepts [these lessons are NOT skill and drill - they go through examples, guided practice, independent practice, and whenever possible, explain to students the reasons behind the 'rules'].

Power Points require only basic knowledge of the program.

Files are zipped and all in .pptx (2010 PPT Show) format.

Thank you for your business and feedback!
