Includes 10 slides fall themed pictures: acorn, apple, pear, sunflower, owl, leaf, oak leaf, corn, mushroom, pumpkin,

In this interactive activity, students drag and drop the shapes to create the pictures (they are already rotated for students so they will only have to match them). They then count how many of each shape and type in the number.

Also has "I Can" statements and instructions.

This assignment can be "turned in" and checked by the teacher using Google Classroom. It is not self grading.

Used when I was a virtual prek 3 & 4 year old teacher for my district. I incorporated it into my virtual learning by either having it as a hard copy that they used at home or on google drive.

This worked perfectly for distance learning. I used it more for spatial relation and geometry than counting, but it still worked wonderfully. The only trouble I had was that there were a couple of slides that did not have enough pieces for the students to reproduce the original configuration. My suggestion is try to add a few extra copies of each of the blocks (in case students accidentally delete some too) before you assign them to your students. My students had a set of pattern blocks at home, even though they are distance learning. They first built the picture using the real blocks then they did it digitally. It was a nice way to bridge the gap between virtual and real if you have the opportunity and resources.
