This fraction check in is 8 questions that all deal with fraction equivalence. There is a grouping tool at the top to mark as you score in order to create strategy groups for the future. I give this assessment at the end of a lesson, or at the very beginning because it's short and sweet!
Students will be quickly assessed on the following:
*drawing a fraction picture
*creating equivalent fractions using multiplication and division
*simplifying fractions
*prove fractions are equivalent with 2 bar models
