Description

This real life math project with the theme DESIGN A HOTEL, investigates estimation and working with large numbers, budgeting and money.

Students will be engaged and enjoy using numeracy in a real life situation. It has been designed for students in grades 4 to 7. Now suitable for in person and online learning with printable PDF and online Google slides.

THE PERFECT WAY TO GET STUDENTS INTERESTED IN MATH!

The projects are easy to follow and can either be teacher run or student driven. Each math project is designed to run between 3-5 lessons depending on how much time you wish to allocate to the tasks.

Students get to plan and design a new hotel! Teach money and budgeting in a fun way. Each group needs to budget and cost the rooms of their hotels. The project comes with the cost of basic hotel items and includes space for more student raised items to be added.
