For this activity, students will practice solving rational expression equations. I usually let students complete the problems, then use one device per group to check their answers using the QR codes. The QR codes make it easy for students to check their work and get immediate feedback on whether their answers are correct or not. There are two sets of identical task cards for you. One with QR codes and one without. Depending on how well your class does with technology/how accessible technology is, you can decide which set of task cards to use.

Task Cards #1-4 have monomial denominators (does not require solving quadratic equation)

Task Cards #5-12 have binomial/Trinomial Denominators (Does not require solving quadratic Equation)

Task Cards #13-18 have monomial denominators (does require solving a quadratic equation)

Task Cards #19-24 have binomial/trinomial denominators (does require solving a quadratic equation.)
