The purpose of this simulation is to explore how resources are used when they are available to multiple parties. Students use goldfish crackers to learn about how resources can be managed through different environmental/resource management techniques. Students love the hands on aspect of this activity and really helps to illustrate how a tragedy of the commons occurs in society.
