In this project, students will work with their family to disguise a turkey to prevent it from getting eaten for Thanksgiving. Nonsense Word Fluency is a measure of how well students apply word attack decoding skills to unfamiliar words. I created this Power Point slide show to use in the mornings as students are arriving or anytime during the day when we have a few minutes.
