Focus, Refocus, Redirection-Classroom Management Strategy

Students at times may become disruptive in the classroom, however many times they are redirected repeatedly, sent to another teacher, or when you have had enough, the principal's office . Try this instead. have a seat in your classoom known as the time out seat. Students will go there for 10 minutes, complete the time out form, and return to you. You make a copy, and then send home to the parent for them to sign and return. This method keeps a record of the behavior, but it gives him or her ow

We all have little ones who sometimes need something to keep them focused and working hard! This behavior chart has worked miracles for me. I have it split into morning and afternoon BUT you could even edit it to make it as frequent as you want (split into subjects, events, etc.) I mark on the paper a smiley, an "ok" face, or a sad face to show the child and parents, how the student did for the day. The best part is that you can change the goal as needed for the child. Please feel free to edit a

I use this behavior chart to manage behaviors throughout the class. I use it as part of PBIS by placing clothes pins around "on target" beginning each day and if a student is asked to move their clip down they will but are always given the opportunity to move it back up if they improve their behavior in the future. It also allows students to self monitor their own behavior which is really helpful! I suggest that you print out, laminate, and glue on colored construction paper and pin up in your

Reward Chart Soccer

Reward charts are an important part of any ABA behavior based program. Our reward charts are made to go up to 5 rewards before the student earn their reward. To start you can use only 2 tokens before they earn the reward. Eventually you can work up to all 5 rewards before they earn the reward. Each chart is customizable for the name of the student. Just replace the XYZ with the students name.

Behavior Reflection Chart - Editable

This easy to use, editable behavior chart worked very well with two of my first graders who needed to slow down and reflect on their choices. Every morning we briefly went over their goal and they became self-sufficient in filling it out after each part of our day. When they met their goal, they earned a 5 minute reward at the end of the day (legos, iPad, etc.). I understand that each school and child is different, so the chart is easily editable. **After downloading, if you have any trouble edi

This is a highly effective and interactive learning tool to help younger students develop their decoding skills. The slideshow is designed to gradually reveal letters of a word, one at a time, at a pace chosen by the teacher. This approach helps students focus on making the sounds of each letter, which is a crucial step in phonics and early reading skills. As students see each letter, they can practice saying the sounds and then blend them to form the word. Once students have attempted to identi

Simple rewards can be earned when a student follows the rules and turn their negative behavior into positive behavior. These charts help track that behavior for school or home. Positive reinforcement is the best policy! I hope these are useful. Please check back regularly as I update and add products.
