Classroom Money-Beach themed
I use a money based behavior system in my classroom and it works wonderfully. The money I created is called "Kinzinger Kash", but the document can easily be edited to match your own name. The money also includes a palm tree to match my beach themed classroom, but you can change that to your liking as well.
I also attached how my students use their money to buy rewards. They can spend their money at the end of each week, or choose to save up for a larger prize.

It's difficult to teach students higher level math when they don't know their basic facts. How can you hold kids accountable and motivate them to practice their math facts? I use this form with my children to record the lessons they have practiced, as well as to gain experience with charts and data collecting. Students also learn how to calculate averages. Every new practice session lets them try to achieve a higher score. For free typing software and online assessments, we use rapidtyping.com.

Transportation home those first few days of school can be hectic. I have created a transportation sheet that parents can sign when they come to our Orientation with their child and bring their supplies. With the Common Core guidelines of learning at least two strategies to solve a math problem, this worksheet gives students a quicker means to find the answer. This worksheet help students learn with three different strategies - equal groups, number line, and arrays. I printed enough for all my students and laminated them so that they were reusable using a dry erase marker.
