This note is meant to give parents a snapshot of what their child really thinks about their math learning. It is a good conversation starter for those parents that struggle to talk about their child or ask questions. It is also a good conversation starter for teachers during parent teacher conferences.

Student Data Binder
This Student Data Binder is a great way to have students track and own their own progress. Students can write their own mission and vision statements, rate their attitudes, chart math progress, log test scores and note strategies for continued success or improvement. Additionally, there is a Bloom's connection that may be used weekly or daily to get students thinking about higher level thinking is used daily.

Multiplication Fluency Data Chart
Students can always benefit from keeping track of their own progress in skill building. You can use this template for students to graph their scores on a quick multiplication skill quiz. Note: This is set up for 20 multiplication problems. I use Math-aids.com to generate a 1 minute fluency quiz which has 20 problems. Students must track their nightly minutes practing math facts and parents must sign. This helps hold students and parents accountable for practice at home. Division Fact Timed Test (MCC3. OA. 7)
Multiplication and Division are the most prominent skills in 3rd Grade math. These timed test are a great way for students to learn their facts. I start by doing the multiplication timed test ( which are easy to find online.) When students have completed through their 12's, they begin on their division facts. These test are not as easy to find online. That is why I created these.
I give students 1 minute to complete each 16 question test.
