Foreign Language Class Participation Rubric
Rubric to score classroom participation in the foreign language classroom including categories for class preparation, vocabulary usage in class, structure and grammar, response to questions during class, group and peer activities, and initiation of conversation. This rubric is designed for use in a high school classroom, and works well if students rate themselves in each category, followed by the teacher providing a rating.

Grading rubric for Foreign Language Class
This is a basic rubric which can be edited by purchaser for any foreign language classroom. It is particularly suited to the elementary or middle school classroom. This rubric would be useful for teachers using both letter based grading systems and ungraded "satisfactory-unsatisfactory" systems. French Class Participation Rubric for Classroom Management (non-academic skills)

This is a template for listing your students and keeping track of their assessment progress in oral basics of Core French. You may also simply use just the second page rubric and a school class list with student names already listed. The rubric is based off the Saskatchewan Core French curricula but it can be adapted to all programs.
