This is a worksheet to go with a math basketball game to be played in class. It is suggested to play with cups taped to the board and paper balls or ping pong balls. The practice involves recording their shots, determining their shooting percentages, and creating fractions and ratios based on their scores. Does your class love to do colour by number activities? This activity is a culmination project for converting decimals, percentages, and fractions. Students will first design their own template picture by using 3/4 inch graph paper. Each square will contain a fraction or percentage (decided by the designer) that matches a key for a specific colour. Students will collaborate to make their work come to life. Students will create an anchor chart, a center(game), and a 10 question quiz to present/teach their peers when completed. They will be graded by the included rubric. End of year review for any subject. I used it for my 5th grade math class. I gave each group of 3-4 a topic that they would be working on together.
