I let the student use each activity ONCE in a week, after he has used it he posts it into a box on my desk and its used for the week. This lesson covers the freezing temperature of water and how it can be altered to lower the temperature at which water freezes. In doing so, students perform a lab to make their own ice cream. It also allows students to measure using a graduated cylinder and triple beam balance. Measurements are made in metric units.
