Probability Project to Parallel a Probability Chapter
This project is designed for a probability chapter for an Integrated Algebra class, accoridng to NY state standards. This project includes empirical studies, theoretical studies, combinational probability, compliments of probability, and some permutations and combinations. In addition, there is a final analysis section that combines the assignments of students into a final assignment of 1-2 pages.
In each section, there are instructions to help students find everything on their own.

US Presidents Data Analysis Math Project | Statistics Inquiry 21st Century Skill
Engage students with a 21st century math project as they analyze data on US presidents through a statistics and inquiry-based approach. This activity helps students apply data analysis skills, interpret trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. Students will create box and whisker, stem and leaf, histograms, and scatterplots through their investigations. In the end, students will take on the inquiry question: "Do US Presidents with the most children live longer after they have been inaugurated?"

Exploring Associations Using Least Squares Regression Lines
This activity gathers bivariate data from your students. This activity is currently set up to show students that they can use least squares regression lines to show WEAK or NO associations between two variables just as much as you can use them to show strong associations. You could always change the variables in this activity to anything you wanted to explore different variable relationships.

Comparing Linear, Quadratic, Exponential Regressions w/Spreadsheets
This project incorporates spreadsheets with scatter plots and lines of best fit. It asked students to perform various regressions, such as linear, power, exponential, and logarithmic, The students are asked to generate an model to help park rangers determine the weight of black bears by using only one of three measures, neck girth, length, and chest girth.
