1000 hours outside is a worthy objective for any family, adult, or child. 500 hours is a great start. This is about 41 days of outside time a year. It is scientifically proven to increase creativity and decrease stress and anxiety. Included in this are charts for children to color in a beach ball for every hour for either a 500-hour objective or a 1000-hour objective. There are suggestion tickets to cut out and choose between when ideas are needed.
