Graphing Project Rubric- Common Core Aligned
This rubric may be used to grade a student graphing project. Students select a topic, survey the class, make a tally chart, and create a bar graph to show their data.

Fact Family template with color coded prompting
If your students cannot remember where to put the numerals for their fact families, try this color coded version. I put mine in page protectors so they could use dry erase markers and use them over and over again.

October Mystery Math Message
Do your students need a fun, engaging math activity to help them practice math addition problems? This mystery message requires that students solve addition plus one and doubles equations. I created a three-point math portfolio piece for second grade. I based it on NYC's Go Math! program. It's for November, so it contains an addition word problem. On the bottom, I included a task-specific self-evaluation scoring rubric. Students take ownership by scoring themselves.
