CVC Spelling Flashcards / Clothespin Work Task for Special Ed/ Emergent Readers
This set contains 24 CVC word flashcards containing pictures and blank color-coded boxes (consonants are white, vowels are blue). Students will look at the pictures and select and match the letters to corresponding boxes to spell the cvc word depicted by the picture. Flashcards and letter tiles are intended to be printed on cardstock, laminated and backed by velcro icons for repeated use. Math
Practicing simple sentence structure
Practice a simple sentence structure using motor, visual and auditory cues. Parts of speech are color coded to match a colored circle. Cut out the colored circles and place them in front of the student in the correct order. The student touches each circle as she says each part of speech. It reinforces the production of articles and helping verbs. The individual word cards can be used separately to allow you to vary the subject and verb with pictures or objects you already have.
