This packet includes 3 worksheets that help students practice comparing two amounts using coins and bills. I have made rigorous questions that show that having more coins does not always mean you have more money. Also, that there are ways to make the same amount with a mixture of coins and bills. The last worksheet in the packet has the students write an amount that is in the middle of two amounts. Then, the students will find the difference between the two original amounts.

This book has 4 pages. The students cut out the pages and fill in the answers to skip count to 100 by 2's, 5's and 10's. At the bottom of each page, there is an equation to fill in that says __________ groups of ___________=____________. This will help students conceptualize that 100 can be comprised of 50 groups of 2, 20 groups of 5 or 10 groups of 10. 2 sizes= full sheet and 4 pages per sheet.
