Additional biographical information

First off, thanks so much for taking a peek at our bio to get to know us. To be clear, there aren't quite 88 of us but here’s our current starting line-up: Cy is our team captain. She’s a former Marine with 26 years of teaching experience under her belt. She knew early on that she wanted to be a teacher and worked full-time as a teacher assistant while earning her degree (while caring for a husband and 3 children). Cy is the Content Queen – she’s responsible for writing content and questions, formatting, approving final drafts and directing the general aim of the business. Nina is our writer extraordinaire. She is an aspiring poet, author, songwriter and puzzle maker. Armed with a History degree, Nina is on the front lines in elementary school classrooms everyday as a reading specialist in a charter school. For 88Brains she helps with content and question creation, and writes most of our super-cute original reading passages. Warren is our resident tech whiz. She is responsible for maintaining our store here on TPT and our presence across the various social media platforms. By day she’s a corporate trainer, by night she uses her degree in Visual Arts/Design to create the templates we use to format our products for optimal awesomeness and ease of use. She also breathes life into our original illustrations by injecting them with vibrant colors. Jack is our illustrator. He plans to pursue a degree in animation in the near future. In the meantime he is hard at work providing 88Brains with original (and adorable) clip-art that gives our work that extra little something. He is also blossoming into something of a jack-of-all-trades, helping out when needed with formatting, editing and maintaining our web presence. We love what we do and use our products in our own classrooms. Having the opportunity to also share that same work with a community as vibrant and engaging as TPT is truly an amazing experience. We thank you for taking a moment of your precious time to check us out. Keep Being Awesome :) Sincerely, The Brains
