Experience

I am in my 25th year teaching. I have 20 years of middle school math experience that includes basic, support math through to Algebra 1. I have also taught 5th grade. Teaching style

I am a hands on teacher. I like lessons that promote discussion and thinking in my classroom. I like my students to be a bit off balance while they are working through a lesson so that they are truly working through the process of learning. I find it thrilling when my students come out of a lesson feeling accomplished and like the really understand the concepts we are working on. :)
