"Sugar" is a great movie to show spanish 1 or 2 classes. It is about Miguel Santos who comes to the US to play baseball and send money back to help his family. He struggles with language barrier, and different social cues. Eventually he finds his dream of being a major league baseball player to much and goes to NY to find work.
