This Google Sheets file is the perfect place to keep track of your students' letter sound knowledge throughout the year. Print the first sheet (fit to page) to place in front of the student. Follow the directions on sheet 2 to keep track of each student's knowledge. This inventory follows the scope and sequence of many major phonics programs such as Fundations, Wilson and Spire and is fully editable to meet your needs.

This product was an invaluable resource when I created it for my ELL first graders. These students, and many of my native English speakers, struggle with how to differentiate between the question words. This vocabulary Graphic organizer is awesome for ELLs. It asks them to describe a new word using all five senses. I have used this organizer for all my students, gifted, ESE, ESOL, etc. They all love this break in the monotony of copying definitions into a vocabulary notebook.

This sort is for students struggling to recognize the different operations within word problems. It is not for actual practice of the operations, but rather, a tool to use to help them recognize the language. This activity allows students to show off their skills at modeling a multiplication fact, using the main strategies enforced through Engage NY/Eureka Math in the beginning of third grade. Strategies include using equal groups, a tape diagram, a number bond, and an array. There is also a spot to write related facts to demonstrate the commutative property and the relationship between multiplication and division.

I tape this checklist on the inside cover of my students' creative writing journals. Each day after writing, the students reflect on one thing they did well from the list and one thing they will work harder on tomorrow. My daily creative writing prompts are available for purchase in my TpT store. You could also laminate before securing into writing journal and let students mark off each item with a dry erase marker as a self monitoring strategy. This is a blank/editable form to take attendance and lunch count each day. I copy a big stack and put them on a clip board, each day the students sign in as they come in the door. This way, I can quickly look over it once all the kids are here and send in my absences/lunch count.

It is great to have a spot to display all the books you are currently studying and allow students to browse through them when finished with work.
