This activity is similar to a lab and is designed to be done in groups. You will need any type of cereal with more than one color in it, a hard candy such as M & M's or Smarties, vinegar, and baking soda for the activity. Fun Critical Thinking Activity: Hypotheses developed from partial information

This activity gives students a chance to take pieces of evidence and form a hypothesis. In the teacher instructions you start out with a sentence that you will cut up into its word pieces. Groups of students are given the pieces, but are only allowed to look at a few at a time.
