My students are made aware of our school district's policies at the beginning of the year. They know the rules, and they also know the consequences. Like other teachers, I have my own set classroom rules, but this year I decided to make and implement my own set of classroom contracts. Classroom Contracts are designed to really re-inforce policies I have for my classroom, and to help me improve my classroom management. My Classroom Contracts even have the option of giving my students a voice.
