Creating Classrooom Magic

Hello everyone!! I am very excited to be posting my first edition of my new line of exit tickets! I am a lover of exit tickets and have been using them often in my classroom. However I didn't feel that I was using them to the best of my ability before. i knew there was more information i could collect from them as well as better questions to ask the students before they left. So I came up with this outline which will be seen throughout all of my exit tickets (however the skill will change)

Hello everyone!! Here is the second installment of my exit tickets. This edition is for number sense. Each ticket will have a goal on it so the students know exactly what their goal is for that specific ticket. Each ticket will also have a rating scale at the bottom for the students to use. Hello everyone! This is a pack of 10 subtraction word problem task cards. I place these in a center and have the students work together on white boards to solve each. I have also used them as a whole group mini lesson or a quick assessment. There is an answer sheet included in this where students are asked to show their work, give their answer, and then further explain their thinking on how they solved it.

This assessment is focused on the skills of comparing and ordering numbers. There are 16 questions total and there are 4 different types of questions on the test. Students are asked to do the following things... 1. Color the bigger number 2. Color the smaller number 3. Use the < > or = signs to complete the number sentence 4. Order number from least to greatest 5. Identify 10 more and 10 less.

This is an assessment made to check your students understanding of simple addition and subtraction concepts There are three different types of questions on this test with 12 questions in all. I have also included an answer key with it.
