Point of view is my favorite skills to teach! Hands down! It is such an important comprehension skill that is built upon in higher grades. Being able to tell that two characters feel differently about an issue can be tricky, especially when the students have to separate out their point of view as well. But with quality literature, it’s much more enjoyable for everyone! This product includes 4 mini lessons, 2 response sheets, and a link to a google slides presentation.

Students will describe how the character responded to a major event and compare it to how they would have responded. Then they can illustrate what they wrote. RL 2. 3- Describe how characters in a story respond to major events and challenges. RL 2.6 Acknowledge differences in the points of view of characters, including by speaking in a different voice for each character when reading dialogue aloud.

Keep your classroom library orangized by labeling your book bins and the books themselves! I use a number system and my kids love it! Included are library labels with and with out numbers, and some of tips for labeling your library. I've included 40 categories!
