Response sheet that works with any poem. It asks the student to draw what they are visualizing, and then write about what words helped make that mental picture. Point of view is my favorite skills to teach! Hands down! It is such an important comprehension skill that is built upon in higher grades. Being able to tell that two characters feel differently about an issue can be tricky, especially when the students have to separate out their point of view as well. But with quality literature, it’s much more enjoyable for everyone!
